Starting in 2020, Redmark began offering HEV (hybrid electric) and PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric) upfits for fleet vehicles in partnership with XL Fleet for new vehicle platforms from Ford, GM and other OEMs. Electric hybrid systems are an excellent way to improve the sustainability of a fleet’s vehicles by lowering criteria pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions. HEV and PHEV systems reduce the vehicle’s fuel consumption, which generates environmental benefits while lowering fuel costs.
Electric hybrid systems work in concert with the existing OEM powertrain, so your vehicles keep their high performance. Vehicles upfit with an XL Fleet system include the XL Link telematics system to aid drivers and fleet managers in their management of the charging and operation of these vehicles. Each HEV or PHEV upfit at Redmark goes through detailed, rigorous quality control procedures.
All components and their installation procedures meet applicable emissions, safety, and other codes and standards.
We are also an NHTSA registered vehicle modifier.
Each upfit vehicle is fully warrantied - the OEM maintains the vehicle and powertrain limited warranty, while Redmark and its authorized suppliers maintain the warranty for the HEV or PHEV system components.
